Ultra Stamping & Assembly, Inc. manufactures 500,000 heat tabs annually for the computer industry. Heat tabs are provided in single pieces and supplied in custom packaging.

Heat tabs are stamped from 0.0160 of an inch thick 110 copper with a matte tin finish per customer specifications. Heat tabs are produced in a punch, plate, punch process. All four surfaces are stamped to remove material from the strip copper to expose the areas that require plating then taken up onto a reel and sent out for a 0.000150/ 0.00030 matte tin finish. Tin finish is applied to all four sides of the terminal ends. The plated strip is returned for the final stamping stage where the finished heat tabs are produced.

At no additional cost, specialized tooling and parts chutes that automatically stack parts onto custom packing materials in designated quantities was developed between customers engineering group and USA's R&D to maintain customer specified flatness through all stages including transit.

Illinois, Mexico and Texas customers enjoy JIT delivery.
