Ultra Stamping & Assembly, Inc. manufactures 300,000 aluminum shields annually for the Insert Molding and Power Converter industry using advanced metal stamping technology. Shields are provided in single pieces and delivered in custom packaging.
Aluminum shields are constructed from 0.0120 of an inch thick from aluminum coil stock covered on both top and bottom with a selectively applied kapton barrier. The finished shield is formed on two sides to 90 degrees and the other two sides are formed to 25 degrees without compromising the kapton barrier.
Collaborating with the material supplier, customers engineering group, USA eliminated several cosmetic and functional abnormalities with kapton tape during the stamping process.
Parts are hand packed into custom molded trays ensuring that parts are not damaged in transit. Illinois and Maryland customers enjoy JIT delivery.
